When do 2027 reservations open

• hut-reservation.org (13 huts here): No single date. Each hut opens the coming season for booking when it chooses, which the DAV puts as early as December and sometimes not until March; most reservations are made between mid-February and late April. As a rule beds can be reserved until 18:00 on the evening before arrival. Cancelled places go back on the calendar, often only a few days before the date. Checked against the portal on 27 August 2026.
• hut-reservation.org (SAC huts) (3 huts here): The portal publishes no opening date, and the SAC states no common rule, so each hut opens the coming season on its own schedule. Watch the hut's own page on the portal. At staffed SAC huts a reservation fee of CHF 10 per guest per night is planned from 1 January 2027 at the earliest, taken at booking, credited against the stay and not refunded on cancellation. Solidarity contributions also start in 2027, CHF 3 a night for adult members and CHF 5 for adult non-members, running to 2029. Checked 27 August 2026. The portal itself publishes no opening date, so treat the timing as unconfirmed.
