# Availability Tuesday - 4 Aug

4 August 2026

Everyone thinks the huts are full. Right now they're not:

- ~445 Alpine huts have beds free on an average night this week
- 10,000+ beds still open this weekend (7 Aug-8 Aug)
- Spotlight - Haute Route: 18 of 35 huts have space for Sat 8 Aug

That's 53,000+ empty bed-nights going spare this week alone. The Alps aren't full - the famous huts are. HutScanner shows you the ones with room.

And that's just the ~644 of ~3,500 Alpine huts (~18%) we track live so far - the real number is bigger, and growing every week.
