The reservation calendar shows real-time bed availability by room type, with no account needed to view it. Reservations typically open in winter for the following summer. 38 of 62 huts in this region have live-checked availability. ## When do 2027 reservations open - **[hut-reservation.org (SAC huts)](https://www.hut-reservation.org/)** (38 huts here): The portal publishes no opening date, and the SAC states no common rule, so each hut opens the coming season on its own schedule. Watch the hut's own page on the portal. At staffed SAC huts a reservation fee of CHF 10 per guest per night is planned from 1 January 2027 at the earliest, taken at booking, credited against the stay and not refunded on cancellation. Solidarity contributions also start in 2027, CHF 3 a night for adult members and CHF 5 for adult non-members, running to 2029. Checked 27 August 2026.
