# At most one email a month, about which huts have space

The same data the planner runs on, sent no more than monthly so you know when to book rather than finding out in August.

## That is everything, you are on the list

Nothing else to do. Issues go out at most once a month, and every one has a one-click way out at the foot.

While you are here, the planner is the part that finds the chains of huts with beds on consecutive nights.

## You are unsubscribed

Your address has been taken off the list and no further issues will be sent to it. Nothing else needs doing.

If that was not you, or it was a mistake, you can sign up again below. To have your address erased rather than just unsubscribed, write to [hi@hutscanner.com](mailto:hi@hutscanner.com).

## Your watch is on

We will email you when space opens up on those nights. At most one email a week, and every one carries a one-click way to stop it.

Nothing else to do. If those nights are already bookable you will hear from us at the next weekly check rather than immediately.

## That watch is off

We will not email you about those nights again. Any other watches you have set up are untouched.

## That link has expired

Confirmation links last 24 hours and work once. Enter your address below and we will send a fresh one.

## That link did not work

It may have been cut in half by your email program. Enter your address below and we will send another.

## Something went wrong at our end

Your address was not added. Try the link again in a few minutes, or write to [hi@hutscanner.com](mailto:hi@hutscanner.com) and we will sort it out.

## What arrives

**The availability picture.** Which regions still have beds on the popular nights, which are filling, and where the quiet ground is. It comes out of the same daily sync the planner uses, so it is the real state of the network rather than a guess.

**New regions, first.** When a region pack goes live it is in the next letter before it is anywhere else.

**What changed in the planner.** Short, and only when something actually changed.

## What does not

No weekly mail, no gear affiliate links, no sponsored placements, and no passing your address to anyone else. One a month is the ceiling, not a schedule: if a month has nothing worth saying, nothing goes out. Once in a year there may be a second one, if something happens that will not keep.

## Why you might want it

Alpine huts on the well-known stages fill months ahead, and the moment they open their season is the single most useful thing to know. That moment moves every year and no hut announces it in one place. Reading a short note every few weeks is the cheapest way not to miss it.

## Signing up

You give an email address, nothing else. There is no account, no password and no profile: HutScanner does not have user accounts, and this does not add any.

We send you a link to confirm before you are added, so nobody can put your address on the list but you. If you never click it, the request is deleted within a day and nothing is stored.

Every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time by writing to hi@hutscanner.com.
